Okay, we're starting small people.  Here are a few samples of plant TYPES up for sale.  As we continue to grow, a bigger variety may become available. Including seeds!  Please contact Bob for current plant availability or special requests.

Banana Plants

The Elephant Ear Plant (Colocasia) provides a bold tropical effect in nearly any landscape setting. In fact, these plants are commonly grown for their large, tropical-looking foliage, which is reminiscent of elephant ears. No flowers will grow from this guy,  Loves plenty of water in the summer and partial shade.  Do great planted in pots which makes them mobile for avoiding harsh winter weather.

This Elephant Ear plant to the right is roughly 4 years old and has been transported indoors during the freezing months.  New plants will be available soon, usually starting with 3 or 4 leaves. By the end of a summer expect growth of at least 2-3 times in height!

Elephant Ears

Banana Plants(Musa) come in many varities.  Much like Elephant Ears, they thrive on warm weather and plenty of water, but typically cannot survive freezing winters.  Are able to flourish in the ground with proper care or in warmer climates.  I recommend starting them out in a planters pot.  Unfortunately I have never had luck producing actual fruit.  It's just not quite hot enough here in Oregon.
